Vimar Equipment has been a leading provider of infrastructure maintenance equipment in communities for almost fifty years.
In 1975, Maurice Roden embarked on a journey fueled by integrity, honesty, and a commitment to service when he established Vimar Machinery. With a vision to provide top-quality equipment and unparalleled service, Maurice’s dedication, and expertise propelled Vimar Machinery to new heights with expanded product offerings, solidifying its reputation as a trusted provider of premium solutions.
In 1979, Maurice’s sons, Michael and Garth, joined their father in the business, bringing fresh perspectives and a shared passion for excellence. By 1995, the torch was passed to the next generation, as Michael and Garth assumed ownership and rebranded the company Vimar Equipment.
In 2010, Todd Hystad became a pivotal part of the Vimar family, joining forces with the Roden brothers as a partner in the company.
In 2013, Vimar expanded its reach by establishing True North Emergency and True North Environmental in the Pacific Northwest. With locations in Marysville, WA, and Hillsboro, OR, these divisions provide premium equipment and services, further cementing Vimar’s status as a trusted partner in community development.
